As a general point please note that we DO NOT pass on your personal details to any third party unless absolutely necessary for the operation of this site. We certainly WILL NOT pass on your personal details to any third party for the purposes of marketing, sales, or market research. This is why we don’t ask the question “do you want to receive offers direct from third parties by email, post or phone?” when you register with us. When you register with us as a traveller or a property owner / representative you will need to provide certain personal information such as (but not limited to) name, address, contact phone number and email address. Additionally when you register a property you will need to provide details about that property including the address and as a traveller you will need to give us the dates of your prospective booking and the composition of the party travelling. When you register with us, make an enquiry or list a property you agree to us using your personal details, property details and enquiry specification as set out in this Privacy Policy:
1. What information do we collect about you?
1.1. You may give us personal information about yourself at various times. For example, when you register with the site, make an enquiry or list a property we need to know all or some of the following in order to ensure the smooth operation of the site and its associated functionality: your full name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, enquiry details and property details (including the address of that property). You may also contribute personal data to us at other times.
2. How do we use your Personal Information?
2.1. Your personal data will be used to provide and promote the Site, to provide user support, and for other purposes referred to in this Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions.
2.2. Your personal information is not shared with third parties, except where a third party performs services on our behalf and has agreed to keep such information confidential.

2.3.2. We will use your enquiry specification to find properties that meet your enquiry requirements.
2.3.3. We will send details of your required holiday dates and the composition of the party travelling to registered owners whose properties match your enquiry thus enabling them to quote a price for your holiday booking.
2.3.4. In the event that you accept a quote from an owner which is subsequently confirmed by them we will send your personal contact details (name, phone number, email and broad location details but NOT your detailed home address) to that owner.
2.3.5. We will from time to time send you by email information we feel is helpful to you getting the best experience from the site such as (but not restricted to): notification of activity on your enquiry (e.g. that you have a quote from an owner), notification of the site or features on it being unavailable, notification of changes, developments or new features on the site.
2.3.6. We will from time to time send you by email details of special offers on properties that have matched any of your enquiries. However we will not reveal your contact details to an owner unless and until you have accepted any such special offer and instructed us to reveal your details to that owner by the means explained in such an offer. Furthermore we will deem any such instruction to reveal your contact details to an owner as being applicable only to that particular offer and to the properties specifically identified by you. In the event that we do send you details of such offers or activities you will have the option to opt out of future communications.
2.4. Owners:
2.4.1. We will store the data electronically.
2.4.2. We will use your property description to find enquiries that match your property.
2.4.3. When you quote a price for a holiday booking enquiry we will make your property details visible to the traveller who has made that enquiry and to any other owner who has quoted a price for that enquiry. The property details that we make visible will NOT include sufficient address details to allow identification of the property but only to give an indication of the general location which we may also present in map form.
2.4.4. In the event that a traveller accepts a quote from you which you subsequently confirm we will send your personal contact details (name, phone number, email and broad location details but NOT your detailed home address) to that traveller.
2.4.5. We will from time to time send you by email information we feel is helpful to you getting the best experience from the site such as (but not restricted to): notification of activity on your enquiry (e.g. that you have an enquiry from a traveller), notification of the site or features on it being unavailable, notification of changes, developments or new features on the site.
2.4.6. We will from time to time send you by email details of special offers that we are running. These may be offered in association with a third party but in such cases the communication and offer will come directly from us, not the third party and we will not reveal your contact details to that third party unless you give your express permission for us to do so in a manner that will be clearly explained in such an offer. In the event that we do send you details of such offers or activities you will have the option to opt out of future communications.
2.5. We will not use your personal data or enquiry details in any way other than described here without your prior permission. This means that we will not give, sell or exchange your information to any third party other than as explained in the details below for the purposes of the effective & smooth running of this web site.
