Help and Advice for Owners

Villabazaar creates a real time market place where property owners and agents have the freedom and flexibility to adjust pricing to meet prevailing market conditions. The quoting process enables you to quote a price for your holiday home lettings at a level competitive enough to secure a booking without having to go any lower than is absolutely necessary thus optimising your revenue.

First off, how does this work?

• When an enquiry is made by a traveller that matches your property specification you will receive an email notification.  Having logged on you will be able to see the desired holiday dates for all enquiries that match your property together with the composition of the group wanting to travel. You will only be presented with enquiries that match your property specification, for example if you have a 3 bedroom property your will not see enquiries from someone wanting 4 bedrooms!
• You can quote a price for any enquiries whose dates match availability of your property offering whatever price you wish. Your quote is the price you want to charge the traveller for that rental.
• You will have full visibility of all other properties that have quoted a price for the enquiry together with the price that has been offered by each property.
• This visibility will allow you to asses the relative merits of your property against competing properties and decide what price you need to offer in order to secure the booking. The traveller will see all quotes, not just the lowest one!
• Remember the traveller will not necessarily be choosing the lowest priced property but rather the property that offers best value for money. 
• However, always remember that all the bidding properties will meet the traveller's basic enquiry requirements! 
• You are free to improve your offer at any time whilst the enquiry is live in order to secure the booking. You may also increase or withdraw a quote at any time whilst the enquiry is live.
• When a traveller accepts your quote you will be notified by email as well as in your "my bazaar" area.
• If you wish to go ahead at this price you simply click the confirmation button and we will give you the name, email address and telephone numbers of the traveller. If you do not wish to proceed you are at liberty to withdraw your quote rather than confirm it.
• Once you have received the contact details you can proceed with the booking direct with the traveller.

Enquiries remain active and visible to you until one of the following events take place;

• The traveller accepts a price offer from another property.
• The traveller changes their enquiry so that it no longer matches your property.
• The traveller withdraws their enquiry. (N.B. If the traveller decides to change their holiday dates they are required to withdraw their original enquiry and create a new one).
• The holiday start date passes without the enquiry having been fulfilled or withdrawn.

You will receive a notification message in your "my bazaar" when any of the above events occur. If you have quoted on such an enquiry that offer will automatically be voided by the system.

Some helpful hints to ensure you get that booking!

• If you are quoting for more than one enquiry with the same dates and you get one quote accepted DO NOT withdraw your other quotes until you have secured the booking. This will keep those other travellers aware of your interest and you may well be able to win one of those alternative bookings should the first acceptance fall through.
