Help and Advice for Travellers
Register, log on and let property owners quoye for your holiday booking by offering you the best possible price for your holiday. Property owners have full visibility of all the other properties and prices being offered for your enquiry and can change their offer price as often as they wish helping to ensure that you get the best possible value for money!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
- Firstly you need to register with us, which only takes a couple of minutes & is free!
- You then need to complete an enquiry form giving details of when & where you want to go on holiday and the type of property you are looking for.
- When you submit your enquiry we search our property database and send your enquiry details to all owners whose properties match your requirements. We only send your enquiry to matching properties.
- Owners who have availability for your required holiday dates then have the opportunity to quote a price for your holiday. You can therefore be sure that you will only receive offers from properties which are genuinely available.
- When you log on you will see all the properties that have quoted a price for your booking. You can view full details of all those properties.
- Owners are free to improve their offer at any time whilst your enquiry is active so it is worth waiting as long as possible before accepting a quote. Remember that property owners may well be quoting for other enquiries with the same dates as yours and may also increase or withdraw a quote at any time whilst your enquiry is active.
- To accept an offer simply click the appropriate button!
- You are under no obligation to accept the lowest quote (or indeed any quote at all). You can accept whichever quote you feel offers the best value taking account of the relative merits of the properties available to you.
- If the owner wishes to go ahead at this price they will confirm and we will release your contact details to them (name, email address and telephone numbers only) as provided by you when you register. We will also let you have contact details of the property owner.
- You and the owner can then get in contact direct and proceed with the booking.
TIMESCALES
Your enquiries will remain active and visible to owners until one of the following events take place;
- You accept a quoted price from a property.
- You withdraw your enquiry. (N.B. If you decide to change your holiday dates you must withdraw the original enquiry and create a new one).
- Your holiday start date passes without a quote having been accepted.
HINTS
Some helpful hints to ensure you get the best possible price for your holiday & that the process goes smoothly for you:
- If you are flexible about your holiday dates or location make a separate enquiry for each period or destination. That way you will get the widest possible range of quotes.
- Please remember that you will be paying the quoted price to the owner direct. Most owners will require a deposit to secure the booking (typically 25% - 50% of the total booking cost) with the balance usually due 6 - 10 weeks prior to your holiday.
- Owners will usually ask for a security deposit which you need to lodge with them prior to your holiday and which is refunded afterwards subject to deductions for loss or damage to the property.
- Many owners charge extra for things such as towels, pool heating or cleaning. We ask owners to clealy list any such charges on their property description but be aware that there may be some extras!
- Of course each owner will have their own specific terms and conditions and these hints are only intended to serve as a guide to what you might expect to see!
